DevelopersMobcastandeitarosofthave announced that they are working on a new smart phone game based onYu Yu Hakusho. Tentatively titled Project U, it’s an action RPG which will allow players to co-operate with others online to beat challenges.
Okay…you’ve lost me. What is a Yu Yu Hakusho?
Yu Yu Hakushowas a manga series created by Yoshihiro Togashiand. There was also a decent anime series based on it. It follows the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a teenage delinquent who dies when he’s hit by a car trying to save a child’s life. After overcoming a series of challenges, he’s allowed to return to the living world but finds he’s not quite the same as when he was previously alive. He has gained ability to see spirits and demons, so he puts his talents to use as an “Underworld Detective”. The series has him solving various cases featuring demons and spirits who have ran amok on Earth.

As well as it getting a new game, there is also going to be a new anime special in 2018. If you haven’t already watched the originals, they’re definitely worth a look.
