xQc claims Asmongold is “riding the hype train” by joining Kick for one reason
Streaming star Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel says Asmongold is “riding the hype train” following the announcement he’ll start streaming on Kick, but it’s not just for their platform.
When Kick first started out back in early 2023, many streamers questioned just how longthe Stake-backed platformwould stick around for. Fast forward two years and it has become a serious viable option away from Twitch.

A number of Twitch’s top streamers, including xQc, have signed part exclussivtiy deals with Kick so that they’re tied to the platform for a while. Even thoughKick is no longer in the business of giving out big contracts, they are nowopen to multistreamingand letting streamers make good money from their partner program.
Asmongold, who has been threatening to move away from Twitch’s exclusivity for a while, has confirmed that he will start multistreaming on Kick now too.

xQc points to Kick F1 team after Asmongold joins
The announcement was made on June 1, with the former OTK member revealing that he will go live on Kick come June 2. xQc was quick to praise it as a “huge dub,” but the Canadian also said he is just “riding the hype train” by joining Kick. Though, it isn’t just for their streaming achievements.
“So Kick finally gets fifth place at F1 and then the same day, day after, he joins Kick? Ok dude. Bandwagoner Andy,” he said, noting the Stake F1’s team result in the Barcelona grandd prix.

“I see what he’s doing. Its all good! He’s just riding the hype train.”

However, xQc noted that streamers who join Kick don’t have to be involved with gambling after fans questioned Asmon as to whether or not he’d be involved.
“People think its only a gamba website or whatever, but,” he added.
