Wuthering Waves 2.4 Banners: New Characters and Weapons
Kuro Games announced the upcoming character banners for the Wuthering Waves 2.4 update during the latest livestream. They revealed that two new 5-star resonators will be debuting in the game: Cartethyia and Lupa. While the former is set to be introduced during the first half of the next patch, the latter will arrive during the second half. Additionally, the developer also shared details about the signature 5-star weapons of these characters, and the 4-star Resonators that will get a rate-up on their banners.

Wuthering Waves 2.4 Banner Schedule
The Wuthering Waves 2.4 update will be released on August 08, 2025 (countdown timer), introducing new characters, weapons, events, and more. The developer has confirmed it will see the debut of two new 5-star resonators, Carthethyia and Lupa, alongside their signature weapons.

First half (June 15, 2025)

Cartethyia will finally release as a playable character in WuWa during the first half of version 2.4 on her special convene banner, called “Dance in the Storm’s Wake.” She has been confirmed to be a Sword-user from the Aero attribute, and will be featured alongside her signature weapon, Defier’s Thorn.
Moreover, Cartethyia’s banner will include Aalto, Baizhi, and Youhu as 4-star options.

Second half (TBA)
The second half of the 2.4 update will see the release of Lupa as a playable character of her limited-time convene banner, called “Roar of Triumph.’ She has been confirmed to be a 5-star resonator who wields a Broadblade and has the powers of the Fusion attribute. Her signature weapon, Wildfire Mark, will also be featured on the weapons banner alongside her.
Joining Lupa on her banner as 4-stars will be Sanhua, Taoqi, and Chixia.
