If you are looking to complete achievements like Master Angler, where you have to catch every fish species at least once, you might need to fish in the Sea of Stars’ new area in the Throes of the Watchmaker DLC.
Here’s where you can start fishing in the Sea of Stars’ Town of Horloge or Throes of the Watchmaker DLC.

Fishing Spot Location in Sea of Stars Throes of the Watchmaker
The best fishing spot in Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker is in the Bounty Basin. You’ll have access to the Bounty Basin after you go through theClockwork Plainsandthe Oubliettes. After you return to the Town of Horloge for the second time, you may go north and head to the Rail Forest. But before entering the Rail Forest, there’s a tiny pond called the Bounty Basin that is easy to miss..
What Do You Get From Fishing in Bounty Basin in Sea of Stars?
The fish are limited in the Bounty Basin. You can fish six or seven times and empty the pond.
You’ll get mostly Small Goodie Bags and Medium Goodie Bags from fishing here. These bags mostly give random ingredients for cooking and other general items. Medium Goodie Bags give more quantity, so you’ll never run out of consumables if you constantly get resources.

In this case, I recommend fishing if you are low on healing items. There’s a boss at the end of the Rail Forest, and you might need the items, especially if you aren’t used to the new Throes of the Watchmaker combat mechanics, since there are also other enemies before the boss encounter.
There’s also a campfire in the Rail Forest, so you can rest up and prepare items when needed.
