If you’re on thehunt for a Grand EscuniteinMonster Hunter Wilds, you’ll want to focus yoursearch on the Scarlet Forest region. This rare squid-like creature can be tricky to find, but there are a couple of reliable spots where it has a chance to appear.
First, head to theunderground cavelocated just beyond thewaterfall north of Area 8. Here, you’ll find a small fishing spot where the Grand Escunite might show up. Another prime location isnear the large lakedirectlybelow the Wudwud Hideout in Area 12. Both of these areas are worth checking out if you’re determined to catch this rare creature.
To make your search more efficient,consider setting up pop-up camps near these two locations. This allows you to fast travel between them, saving you time as you wait for the Grand Escunite to spawn. Keep in mind thatendemic life in Monster Hunter Wilds doesn’t have a 100% spawn rate, so patience is key. It might take a few tries before the Grand Escunite finally appears.
