Sometimes an act of kindness can go a long way, and inTainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon’s case, it can get you into locations that you normally wouldn’t be able to access. Located in the latter half of act 1, the Act of Kindness side quest is more or less a main story quest as it acts as a wall to progress the story in a very specific way. With that said, it doesn’t overtly tell you where to get certain items required, but that’s why you have us.

Accepting the Quest
In order to start Act of Kindness, you will need access to the tribe hideout all the way to the northeast of the map. In order to get into this encampment, you will need to persuade the brutish guard, Mabyn, that you’re here to deliver a message to their leader, Vrann. Even if you’re unable to persuade her, there are other means of getting past.
Regardless, once you’ve done so, you’ll have to climb the short staircase up to the major hut where Vrann is generally brooding outside. Talking to her, you have the means of trying to convince her you have a message for One-Eye, provided your Perception attribute is quite high.
Regardless, she will get you to drink a potion which will immediately turn your voice into a chicken. After a while, things will return to normal, but she asks you to gather some ingredients to better enhance the potion and make it better.
Collecting the Ingredients
Iron Tooth
Iron Teeth are probably one of the hardest items to obtain because you might not know how to pick them up whenever you see one. Iron Teeth can be found specifically on Recaps. These are little goblins who literally wear a redcap hat. These can be found in two distinct locations. One is all the way up in the northwest in the mountains, the other is in the east, relatively near the sea. The latter is a little easier to get because there’s more density ofRedcapshere and not really any other enemy. Unfortunately, this is RNG based, so you’ll have to grind this.
Moonshine is either the easiest ingredient you can get, or one of the hardest. It all depends on how many boxes and barrels you’ve already searched for throughout your adventures, because Moonshine is fairly random when it appears. Because of this, you may already have Moonshine in your inventory or you will need to hunt it down by searching various locations, such as in the main settlement or in the bandit fortress up in the northwest.
Similar to Moonshine, Wolfsbane can be found in random boxes throughout the world, with no good location. With that said, there is one guarantee to actually obtain Wolfsbane: the alchemist merchant in the main settlement in the southwest.
After collecting all the ingredients, all you need to do is return to Vrann and hand them over. She will immediately concoct the potion. She will ask you to go to the Horns of the South and give this potion as a gift. You will need to give Fearghas this and in exchange he will give you a barrel of Barrel Full of Fish to give back. Unfortunately, this Barrel of Fish has a weight of 50, which will likely put you into a slow motion. You will need to clear your inventory in the nearby stash before teleporting back.
