What is Fading Jenny
Fading Jenny is a unique item that’s exclusive to the world of Dragon Age III. Its functionality is purely to turn the Hero and his companions invisible for a short time, with its story-related implications being able to sneak intoEdina Castle, which is locked to anyone who tries to enter.
Where to Find Fading Jenny
Fading Jenny isn’t some easily accessible item, as when you get the ship for the first time, it’s highly likely you’ve never actually run into this item. Instead, it is sold at very specific vendors across the world, with only two being easily accessible at the current stage of the game.
While you’ll be able to obtain it from a handful of other locations, the vendors are restricted so early on in the story for when you need it, so these two locations are the best options you have to progress the story.
The small islandwest of Aliahan, which looks an awful lot like Australia, is by far the easiest to access when you get the ship for the first time. All you need to do is teleport to Promontory Passage and take your ship out west. Here you’re able to interact with the vendor in the middle of town and buy the Fading Jenny at a somewhat steep300 goldprice.
Persistence
If you decided to go west when you got your ship, you’d find yourself on the other side of the globe (in the east), in what only looks like the shape of the Americas. Head around the mountains and into the small streams of what would be North America and progress north. You will eventually come across the small town of Persistence. Heading in from the north, all you need to do is cross the bridge and hang a left to find a vendor who will sell you the invisibility item for300 gold.
