The side quests in RuneScape: Dragonwilds are your usual “go fetch this” or “slay that” kind of content. While there are only six side quests in RuneScape: Dragonwilds, they are all different and offer different rewards. Some will send you chasing oddball rumors. Others will have you digging through ruins, helping stubborn NPCs, or figuring out how to handle ghosts.
7 Best Side Quests in Elden Ring
Hidden in The Lands Between are tales of rot, madness and sorrow, and these side quests make the world even more hauntingly beautiful and lived in.
A few side quests are genuinely memorable and worth revisiting. Others feel more like a checklist item you do just to see it grayed out. So this ranking is to give you a sense of which quests stand out and which ones you might be fine skipping. We’re looking at what you do, how interesting it feels, and whether the reward actually makes it worthwhile.

6Highlighting the Problem
Find Password, Charge Orb on Towers and Unlock Staff of Light.
While you’re wandering through the garden northwest of Bramblemead Valley, you might notice a worn-down statue of a wizard tucked near some ruins. If you stop to interact with it, you’ll get a prompt asking for a password, but none of the choices work. To actually figure out the real password, you’ll have to dig a bit deeper. There’s a vault beneath the courtyard filled with hazards and a few enemies. Down there, you’ll come across another statue glowing faintly, and this one finally gives you the correct password: Pthentorok. Head back upstairs, speak the password to the first statue, and you’ll receive a mysterious orb, which is uncharged.
Charging the orb takes some climbing and clever footwork. You’ll need to locate three towers nearby and use the Windstep spell to leap onto each one. At the top of each tower is a pedestal where the orb can absorb energy. After you’ve charged it at all three spots, go back to the statue one last time. Your reward for all your troubles is the crafting recipe for the Staff of Light.

5Granite Mauled
Unlock a Vault, Survive Traps, Defeat Guardians and Claim Crafting Blueprint
The first thing you have to do in the “Granite Mauled” quest is to find Doric. He’s got a job for you, which is to dig into the sealed vault hidden inside a nearby fortress. You’ll need to activate a set of statues scattered around the outer edges of the stronghold to open it up. Once you’re in, then the real challenge begins. The place is full of traps and enemies guarding the deeper chambers.
Dragon Quest XI S (Switch) Side Quest Guide Part 3
Expect to dodge flying darts, navigate through waterlogged rooms, and face down a few tough creatures before reaching the core. Deep inside, there’s a final lever and a set of vault guardians that need to be dealt with. Once they’re out of the way, you’ll find an old blueprint stashed inside the last room. Bring it back to Doric, and he’ll hand over anImbued Granite Maul Head and a recipe so you may craft your own.
4Heartstrings
Find Blue Trees, Listen to Melodies and Get a Crystal Bow.
To begin your journey in the “Heartstrings” side quest, you’ll need to climb to the top of a mountain in the Fractured Plains. It’s not the kind of place you stumble across unless you’re exploring a bit off the path, and getting there takes a little planning. You’ll need to to jump across ledges and use Windstep.
Once you interact with the memorial stone, your task is to track down a series of blue-leaved trees scattered across the area. Each one has a stone beside it that plays a short melody when you interact with it. Some trees are easy to spot, while others take a bit of wandering, especially one hidden behind an enemy camp. Once you’ve found all six and listened to the final tune, you’ll get acrafting recipe for the Crystal Bow.

3Restless Ghosts
Look for Four Ghosts and Solve Their Problems to Earn a Charm
If you’re heading through the ruined village near the Bramblemead Valley and Temple Woods, check out the well near the center of the area. There’s a bucket inside it with an odd amulet. Take it andbegin the “Restless Ghosts” side quest. Your goal is to speak to four ghosts who won’t appear unless it’s nighttime. So if it’s still bright out, you’ll have to hang around or go do something else until the sun goes down.
Once night hits, head southwest of the well, near the riverside house. That’s where you’ll meet Warren, the first ghost. He’s got unfinished business, and talking to him gets things moving. Each ghost you find has their own reason for sticking around. You’ll have to talk with them and figure out what needs fixing. After helping all four, you’ll receive a charm called the Soul Beacon as a thank you.

Track Garou, Defeat the King, Purify Token and Get a Defensive Cloak
Up in the Stormtouched Highlands, you’ll meet Vannaka near a camp. He’s curious about the Garou and wants you to dig into their rituals. In the Dog Days quest, your first stop is a camp tucked beneath massive wyrm bones, where you’ll find a book sitting on a crate. That book points you toward a Garou fortress tucked in the northwest.
Dragon Quest XI Side Quest Guide Part 1
Getting there involves you crossing a broken bridge and you’ll need a Windstep spell for that. Inside the fortress, you’ll go toe-to-toe with the Garou King. He hits hard and sticks close, so be ready. Once you’ve beaten him, you’ll pick up a tainted token. Vannaka will then send you to purify it using a ritual that needs materials like ram horns and shock bulbs scattered around the area. Wrap it all up at a shrine, and you will be gifted with a cloak that boosts your defenses.
1Goblin Diplomacy
Find Two Amulets, Fight a Druid, Earn Goblin Cloak
When you come across the goblin camp in the Bramblemead Valley, keep an eye out for a chest hidden behind some brambles. Inside it, there’s a Bandosian Amulet. Picking it up starts the “Goblin Diplomacy” side quest. Once you’ve got it, the next step is to track down someone who knows what it actually is. That leads you to Zanik, a goblin hanging out northwest of the camp. She will be able to recognize the amulet but will tell you it’s only half of a pair. The other half was apparently taken by some garou-beastmen and dragged off to the Whispering Swamp.
Zanik will suggest you check out a nearby ruin, where you’ll find Bilegut locked up in a cage. After dealing with a few goblins in the area, Bilegut will confirm the second amulet’s location. You’ll then head northeast to a cave near a waterfall in the Whispering Swamp. Inside, there’s a boss (Garou Druid) fight waiting for you. His attacks include poison, so bringing an antipoison potion is a smart move. After you beat him and grab the second amulet, bring both back to Zanik. She will reward you with the Goblin War Banner cloak, which gives you a small defense boost across all combat styles.
