Battling And Recruiting Ganpp

When you enter the battle, you will find Ganpp accompanied by his two new Gryphons,Berda the Younger and Obda the Younger. To recruit all three, you must reduceGanpp to Critical HP (10% or less) without killing him, and he will surrender.

If his Gryphons are still alive, they will also join the party, but if one or both die, Ganpp himself can still be recruited.

Tactics Ogre Reborn Bandits Neimrahava Talk Topic

Ganpp will use Empower Beast III on the Gryphons, allowing them to cause very large damage, but other than that, his Bandits are not very dangerous, so should you have no problems with this battle.

Ganpp And His Gryphons

Ganpp joins the party at Level 36, with Rank 36 in the Axes skill. He has veryhigh STR, VIT, and DEX,meaning he can make an excellent Melee fighter in many classes, or you can just keep him as a Beastmaster.

Berda and Obda the Younger are pretty standard Gryphons, but they do have slightly lower Reaction Times, meaning they will be naturally superior to any Gryphons you are already running. Gryphons are an excellent choice for general play as their ability to fly and make strong AOE attacks makes them excellent at picking up the random bonuses around the battlefield and then killing enemy units en masse or putting down bosses.
