After the massive success ofBreaking Bad, which ended its run in 2013,Bryan Cranstonreturns to the small screen with a new animated TV series fromCrackleentitledSuperMansion. Following thefirst photoreleased back in April, the streaming service has released a new trailer, before the show debuts Thursday, October 8. Fans will get to see the first three episodes on the premiere date, with new episodes debuting every Thursday thereafter until December 17.
From the studio that brought youRobot Chicken, comes a new animated Crackle Original Series,SuperMansion. Producer and starBryan Cranston(Breaking Bad) voices Titanium Rex, leader of The League of Freedom, a motley band of super heroes that has seen better days.SuperMansionalso stars the voices ofSeth Green,Keegan Michael Key,Jillian Bell,Chris Pine, Tucker Gilmore, Tom Root,Heidi Lynn Gardnerand Zeb Wells.
Cranstonalso serves as executive producer, alongsideSeth Green, John Harvatine IV, Eric Towner andJames Degus.Matthew Senreichand Zeb Wells ofRobot Chickenare creators, writers and executive producers. Guest stars includeRon Perlman,Donald Faison,Jordan Peele,Nick Kroll,Anton Yelchin,Famke Janssen,Breckin Meyerand more.
This is notBryan Cranston’s first foray into theanimation/voice over world. He previously lent his voice toFamily GuyandAmerican Dadfor two-episode arcs, along with brief arcs inArcher,Robot Chicken,The SimpsonsandThe Cleveland Show. On the big screen, he provided the voice for Vitaly in 2012’sMadagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, and he also voices Li, the long-lost father ofJack Black’s Po inKung Fu Panda 3.
The show joins Crackle’s growing library of original shows, such asComedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Chosen andCleaners, along with original movies like this summer’sJoe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser.
