Riven Crown Is A Soulslike with a Combat Twist
The game offers a tough and exciting adventure. Players will discover a large, linked world where new civilization have sprung from the remnants under the protection of councils of elders and dark magic hubs.
Every death and resurrection in this odyssey not only alters the protagonist’s course but also changes the world’s destiny. With each fall, a petrifying curse aggravates itself; only uncommon objects can somehow halt its evolution.
Riven Crown’snarrative focuses on a hero who wakes in a superior universe formed by the fall of four old civilizations after death.
Once-great empires ruled by kings sharing a divine connection with their deities have collapsed and been turned into petrified terrors by a calamity known as the Great Sweep.
Riven Crowndistinguishes itself in terms of gameplay by combining classic action RPG features with components taken from fighting games. By triggering a special meter, players will be able to unleash terrible combos using two types of kicks: a light one to break enemy guards and a heavy one to knock foes backwards or interact with the environment.
Additionally included in the game are two varieties of blockshigh and lowthat let players to resist various forms of assault. Every weapon and armor combination has specific characteristics that, once learned, permanently define the character’s repertoire.
A Wealthy World Full of Secrets and Difficulties
Another main feature is exploration. The world is meant to be nonlinear, full with secrets, difficulties, riddles, and hidden codessome of which social media posts will only disclose.
Players will be able to call companions with special skills if they rescue inmates spread across the map. Finding hidden statues will increase the player’s threat level and open up meetings with rather tough bosses.
