This was due to her romantic involvement with the film’s director, Darren Aronofsky, during the production period. The personal connection she had with Aronofsky seemingly influenced her perspective, making it challenging for her to completely comprehend the intricacies of the movie.

During her appearance onWatch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,Jennifer Lawrencewas asked by Cohen about her understanding of the filmMother!.He playfully inquired, “On a scale of one to totally confused, how much did you understand your film ‘Mother!’?” Lawrence, in her typical candid manner, responded,
“I’m going to be honest. Well, I was sleeping with the director so I had CliffsNotes. So…five? Or a four. But if anybody needs any tips on understanding their films, you know what to do.”

“I tore my diaphragm and cracked something in my chest. My top rib, it still clicks to this day.”
According to The Daily Mail, during the London premiere of Mother!, Jennifer Lawrence disclosed how she tore her diaphragm. She revealed,“I tore my diaphragm from hyperventilating. People thought I was beaten up, so [I] want to clear it up that I did it to myself. It was my own doing.”
