In a recent interview, the actor answered this question, in a way that everyone can truly expect of him.

Harrison Ford does not like doing interviews for his movies

Harrison Fordrecently revealed in an interview that he does not like talking about new movies in interviews anymore. Even about the movies that he is going to be the lead character of, likeIndiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Ford is all set to reprise his role as the archeologist Indiana Jones for one last time in the movie, but he still does not like talking about it. He revealed that this is one of the reasons that he doesn’t like doing interviews as well. He said,

“I mean, I actually love this. I hate it and I love it. Because I get a chance to meet people who do what you do. I have total respect for the process. I just don’t have that much respect for me when I’m doing it, because I’m editor-in-charge of my life. And there are things that are just dumb for me to talk about, that are going to make it less interesting to go see my new movie. Our new movie—Jim’s new movie, Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s new movie, Mads’s new movie, Disney’s new movie.”

Ford was interrupted by the interviewer at this point and said that movie is still calledIndiana Jones,and he is still playing the lead character of the franchise. However, Harrison Ford replied,“Yeah, but I’m not Indiana Jones. I’m Harrison Ford—Harry Ford, in fact.”

Han Solo and Indiana Jones are two of the most iconic characters played by Harrison Ford. And ever since the actor took up both roles, there has been a debate among fans about who would win in a fight between the two characters. Han Solo definitely has the advantage with better technology, but Indiana Jones has the quicker draw and better feats in fistfights.

However, in a recent interview, the actor settled the debate once and for all in the most “Harrison Ford way” ever. He said,

“Well, they [Star Wars fans] usually ask me, ‘If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, who would fuckin’ win?’ And I say [voice rising, fingers drumming], ‘Me, asshole! I don’t want to fucking make shit up like that. I mean, what are you asking me that crap for?’”

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destinyis all set to release on 30th June 2023. The movie already premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival and received some mixed reviews from critics. Despite that, Harrison Ford was praised for his final portrayal of Indiana Jones.
