It isn’t known when we may get a full-length trailer forMarvel’s Jessica Jones. But Netflix has been steadily releasing a series of teasers that trace the superhero P.I. through an average night of work. Today, the latest sneak peek finds Jessica inside her Alias Investigations office as she pieces together a case. It’s the first teaser that has revealed starKrysten Ritter’s face. It also introduces Kilgrave (aka The Purple Man), the main villain played byDavid Tennant. And it’s quite eerie.

The Purple Man, whose real name is Dr. Zebediah Killgrave, was originally a foe of Daredevil. The character was first introduced in Daredevil vol. 1 #4. In the 2000s, he emerged as an enemy of Jessica Jones and her husband Luke Cage. His body produces pheromones which allow him to verbally control the actions of others. WhileDavid Tennantwill appear as The Purple Man onMarvel’s Jessica Jonesthis winter, it isn’t known if the villain will crossover withMarvel’s Daredevil. At this time, there is no indication that any of the characters from both shows will intermingle, but they all live in Hell’s Kitchen, so it’s a more than likely senerio.

This is the fourth in a series of teaser trailers that take us through a typical day in the life ofMarvel’s Jessica Jones. She awakens at 2:59 pm in Hell’s Kitchen, and isn’t too pleased with her alarm clock. The first teaser shows just how powerful this new superhero can be using only her hands. At 7:54, Jessica tosses down a few stiff drinks at a local Hell’s Kitchen watering hole, where she’s just turned the dive into a bloodbath of bikers. She’s definitely not someone we should mess with. In the third teaser, she heads to her night job at 11:57 pm. Now, it is clear that she has been burning the midnight oil. It is 2:23 am, Jess has been working for almost two and a half hours on a case. Perhaps it has taken that long to make the wonderful collage she has tacked to the wall. All the while, she is tormented by the voice of the Purple Man. Check it out. The full trailer is expected to drop this weekend during New York Comic Con.
