There are multiple ways of gaining a Kranodath Skull inMonster Hunter Wilds. You can battle them in the open world of this monster-hunting RPG or take on a specific side quest, which is far more streamlined. Where to Find Kranodath Skull
Kranodath Skulls are fairly easy to acquire inMonster Hunter Wildsas there is a side mission specific to hunting the Kranodath down in the Oilwell Basins. Talk to Alma, and then select “Optional Quests.” From there, look for the “March of the Kranodath” quest. It has you slaying six of these small monsters. The quest rewards include the Kranodath Skull itself, in addition to the following:

Once you start the “March of the Kranodath” optional quest, and you’re on the Seikret, press up on the D-Pad of your controller. This will automatically move your character’s mount to head towards the mission objective. You’ll usually see them in packs and, in this experience, aren’t aggressive in the slightest. With half a dozen hits or so to these monsters, you should be able to slay them easily.
Be wary that one or two may try to evade your attacks and scurry away. Despite being a small monster, be careful of its headbutt attacks. They do a considerable amount of damage to your HP. It can add up, especially if you’re fighting a pack of them at once.

Before moving on to the next set of Kranodath, however, make sure to carve their carcass. They may drop a Kranodath Skull for your character. To do this, sheath your weapon with the square/X button and then press square/X again. When in Low Rank, you have the chance to get these materials when carving these carcasses:

How Much Are Kranodath Skulls Worth?
If you have a stockpile of Kranodath Skulls after grinding inMonster Hunter Wilds, you can sell them to Arthur, the Provisions Stockpiler in the Main Camps. They go for 200z each with Arthur if you can find them in Monster Hunter Wilds' clunky menu for items.Wingdrake Hides, by the way, can be found in the Plains.
