TinyBuildGameshas presented a new look at the gameplay ofKingmaker,a game that became popular in 2024 for its unique premise: an action game where a character travels to the Middle Ages armed with modern weaponry.
Kingmakers Unveils Fresh Gameplay Footage
Developer Ian Fisch explained during theFuture Games Showthe story related to the Welsh rebellion of Owain Glyndŵr, dynamic destructible structures, thousands of soldiers, army command, construction, and the “cooperative multiplayer campaign that you can join or leave at any time,” say the creators.
The studio, Redemption Road, knows fans are waiting for news on its release date, but for now, they are focused on polishing the experience with tests that help improve its gameplay. “Although it’s not fully ready yet, we are eternally grateful for your patience, and we want you to know that our goal is to launch it in the second quarter of this year.”

This medieval battle simulator pits us against armies with thousands of enemies, although you’ll have invaluable help: a modern arsenal. You’ll be able to use rocket launchers, rifles, grenades, and even heavy vehicles against these waves of enemies controlled by an AI that makes its own decisions.
You’ll also be able to give orders to your warriors or let them fight on their own. You have foot units, cavalry, archers, fortification builders, and more to plan your victory in these massive battles.
