Once you unlock the library inBotany Manoryou’ll come to find a puzzle with different symbols, but how do you solve it? All the right clues lie within the library, you just have to know where to look.
Botany Manor: How to solve the library symbols puzzle
Unlocking the library itself is one puzzle, but the next puzzle after this one can be even trickier. There’s an upstairs and downstairs part of the library with a few books to read and to admire the covers of. The five symbols are on the bottom floor and they lead to a secret room, but how can you get through? You can solve the library symbols puzzle by reading thefirst few wordsof all the books.
Botany Manor won’t give you any hints as to which order you must press these symbols in, but the answers lie within the five books scattered across the library. There are three books with open pages you may read, and if you see the first few italicized words it denotes a time of day. The Golden Fish says “One Bright Morning,” The Hare and The Tortoise say “At Midday,” and The Fox and The Crow say “One Evening.”

Once I realized that it had nothing to do with the story of the books but just the first few words, I put it together that I had to press them in a sequence of events starting from sunrise and ending with night. Since the other two books available to look at are called “The Rising Sun” and “Wonders of the Night Sky,” I knew those would go at opposite ends of the order. Using the symbols related to each book, head over to the row of symbols and press them in this order:
With that, the door should open to the hidden room, and you may finally continue to the next part of this Chapter! Soon after this you’ll have to growBrook Chalice, which is a tough puzzle to solve.
