The Golden Apple Archipelago is back for Genshin Impact’s Summertime Odyssey event, which runs fromJuly 15, 2022, to Jul 24, 2025. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to complete all the puzzles in the third room of Mona’s optional Mirage to get five Chests.
You must firstcomplete all the puzzles in the second roomof the Mirage before you can proceed to the second room. From the starting point, turnleftand head to thethirdroom, which is marked by the pattern in the image below.
The Ancient Azure Stars third room walkthrough - How to solve all puzzles
Astral puzzle
Enter the third room andturn rightto find an open door leading to another chamber. Ignore what you see andswim leftto enter yet another room with an Astral puzzle. There’s a reference image in the room, but it’s incomplete.
At the back of the room, you’ll find aHydro rockthat you need to break with a Normal Attack to cause rain to fall. The rain will slightly flood the ground, and the flood water will reflect the reference image. The reference image is now complete, so you can start arranging the Star Guides.
Reference the image above for the directions the Star Guides should face. Once that’s done, anExquisite Chestwill spawn. Don’t forget to loot it!

Exquisite Chest reflection puzzle
Use Elemental Sight to find a suspicious boulder in the room. This boulder is anillusion. When you get close, it will disappear, allowing you to go through. Once you’re inside the new area, you’ll find an Exquisite Chest—but don’t be fooled, as it’s an illusion. Break theHydro rockusing a Normal Attack to force rain to fall.
The flood will cause a reflection of the true Exquisite Chest to appear. Make sure to loot it!
Hydro Monument reflection puzzle
After looting the Exquisite Chest, use Elemental Sight to find another suspicious boulder. Like before, the boulder will disappear as soon as you get close, allowing you to pass through to the next area.
You’ll find four Hydro Monuments. Assuming that theDoor of Resurrection is on the left, activate the Hydro Monument on the furthest end of the room (circled in the image above). This will cause rain to fall, creating a reflection showing the true Elements required to activate the other Monuments.
The rest of the Elemental Monuments can be activated in any order—reference the image above if you’re having trouble seeing the reflection. If none of the required Elements is in your party, use the Door of Resurrection toupdate your party setup. After lighting up all the Elemental Monuments correctly, anExquisite Chestwill spawn for you to loot.

Pyro torch reflection puzzle
After looting the Exquisite Chest, use Elemental Sight to find another suspicious boulder. Like before, the boulder will disappear as soon as you get close, allowing you to pass through to the next area. In the new area, you’ll find some Pyro torches. Use Elemental Sight to find abreakable boulderon the left. Break it using Geo Damage or a claymore to create a small flood.
The floodwater will reflect which torches need to be lit. Reference the image above for the exact torches that you need to light up using Pyro. Meanwhile, you can apply Hydro to the rest of the torches to turn them off. Once you’re done, aCommon Chestwill spawn for you to loot.
Bonus - Common Chest
Since all the puzzles are now complete, you may backtrack to exit and return to the main area. But keep your eyes peeled—after exiting the chamber with the Astral puzzle, you’ll find aCommon Chesthalf-sunken in the water. You must do this steplast, as the water from the previous puzzles was drained from this source, allowing you to loot the Chest.
