This is where everything comes to a head: Hell. Despite beingLost Ark’s Paradise, we’re still diving straight into the fiery depths to obtain some lost goods, and there are some very impressive rewards. This is the final portion of Paradise where all the work you’ve done in theCruciblesection allows you to get some juicy, character-bound rewards, hopefully helping new and veteran players progress without having to worry about the endless cycle. With that said, the Hell mode isn’t as straightforward as it makes it out to be.
Lost Ark Paradise Guide: Elysian
A breath of fresh air, dive into Paradise for some weekly challenges.
Entering the Dungeon
Hell Mode is essentially a continuation of the RNG aspect of the Paradise System, but this time you will be granted potentially huge rewards if you roll correctly, something that will be bound specifically to the specific character. The first thing you will need to obtain arekeys, and depending on the ranking of the keys, you will be granted potentially further depths.
When entering Hell for the first time, you will notice you are given two paths to go down: right or left. This will continue forth until you clear the section of Paradise, as certain paths (unbeknownst to you) will grant you far better advancements.

Once you’ve picked the first path, you will drop anywhere between one and twenty floors, with the animation of the drop itself being the indicator, not too dissimilar to how gacha games work with their pull systems. A black screen will indicate around 1–5 floors, a feet-down drop will be anywhere between 6 and 15 levels, and a swan dive-esque animation into the pits of Hell will indicate you will be getting 16–20 levels.
Throughout your adventures into Hell, you’ll also come across ritualistic orbs that will either grant you an extra descent or an extra treasure chest that can be chosen from. Sadly, you’re not able to choose between the two, and instead it’s completely random what you will get. Both have their benefits, although getting an extra descent is arguably the better outcome.

Reward System
The whole goal is to get as far as possible into this mode. The further down you go, the higher the reward tier will be accessible to you. If you completely low roll on a blue key and end up at level 5, which would be the most cursed run possible, then you’d get the lowest rewards from the chests. If you high roll and get 20 from each drop to finish at level 100, then the rewards from the chests will be huge, with a value of over 200,000 gold worth of materials.
The rewards themselves are separated by a floor tier, with 10 being the highest. So, every ten floors that you fall, you will obtain a higher tier of rewards. This means that if you get to say floor 69, then you’ll get the same reward tier as if you landed on floor 60.

The rewards themselves are completely random, with a minimum of three chests appearing at the end of a run. There are various types of boxes you will come across, with the pool of chests being fairly large:
Where to Get Keys
Keys are a very tricky thing to obtain in Lost Ark. These are incredibly rare items that cannot be found simply by grinding a specific piece of content, as they’re not dropped from anything other than one area: The Crucible.
As you might already know, the Crucible is the 1v1 arena-based mode in Paradise that you use to obtain specific rewards to upgrade your character, such as the Orb or gear. With that said, the whole goal of this is to get as high as possible on the leaderboards to obtain specific rewards each week. Every week, you will obtain a box for your placement, and this will contain at least three keys.

These keys are separated by item level: 1580, 1640 and 1680. Similar to something like Chaos Gates, the reward pool will be different, as 1640 won’t be able to get ancient accessories or bracelets, while 1580 will purely Tier 3 materials and accessories.
Unfortunately, right at the beginning of the season, specifically week 1, you’ll have limited access to the keys. Amazon Games has given out a small gift of one blue key for each of the ilevels, allowing you to at least hop into it. You’re also able to buy one key of each for 500 gold, but this seems to be a onetime purchase and is no longer available for purchase moving forward.
