Like other complex mutations, such as theParadisalmutation, the Maelstrom mutation removes bothTempestuousand Cyclonic mutations from the crop and replaces them. Cyclonic Mutation Guide
The Cyclonic mutation is quite a rare one. As of the current patch, Grow a Garden players can only get this from theGriffin Pet. you may find the Griffin by opening theSkyroot Chest, obtainable during the Beanstalk Event. There is a 1% chance for the chest to drop the pet, so you will either have to keep crafting or buying it from theGiant Goliath’s Friendship Shopto get it.
