Hogwarts Legacyguide – How to unlock Descendo
The Descendo spell inHogwarts Legacyis available halfway through the campaign (i.e., usually after completingPercival Rackham’s Trial). You should’ve attended your first Divination class, which also leads to an assignment from Professor Onai. There are a couple of tasks here:
After completing the tasks, return to Professor Onai in the Divination Classroom. She’ll provide you the pattern that needs to be traced, which looks like the letter P. Successfully tracing that unlocks theHogwarts LegacyDescendo spell. For the most part, this deals damage by slamming an opponent smack dab straight to the ground. It might be helpful when you’re facing flying opponents, too, or via a combination of Levioso and Descendo.
Lastly, we surmise that it can be used in certain puzzles (i.e., like how Accio, Depulso, Flipendo, and Wingardium Leviosa all have their own mechanics). However, we’ve yet to encounter a puzzle that requires you to bring down an object.
