The App Library is a big change for the iOS platform, and while many people have already started embracing it, others, not so much. For those who align themselves with the latter camp,App Library Disableris a newly released and freejailbreak tweakby iOS developerTomasz Poliszukthat disables the App Library interface in its entirety on pwned iOS 14 handsets.
As you might come to expect, App Library Disabler is a simple tweak with no options to configure. Simply installing the tweak removes the App Library functionality from your jailbroken iOS 14 device, ensuring that you never accidentally swipe over to the interface again. With it, you can experience the Home Screen as it behaved prior to iOS 14, except that you would still be able to enjoy the new widgets.
While only a limited number of iOS 14 devices can be jailbroken at the time of this writing, App Library Disabler supports all iOS 14 devices and should run perfectly fine on newer devices when they are eventually jailbroken on Apple’s latest and greatest firmware.
Those who enjoy using the App Library obviously wouldn’t want to use this tweak, but may instead enjoycustomizing the App Library interfacewith a recently-released tweak dubbed App Library Controller by the same developer.
