Google’s Shopping Express for iOS has received a nice update bringing thefree iPhone and iPad applicationto version 1.8 and introducing several new features that elevate your on-the-go shopping experience.
For starters, the app makes Google’s same-day delivery service available in more places, including in and around the West Los Angeles and Manhattan areas. This version also enables product recommendations based on the stores you shop most, adds new items and more…
Note that overnight delivery is available in select zones only. The updated software allows you to purchase a Costco membership and buy other items from Costco.
Speaking of shopping, you can now purchase wine, beer, and spirits and have these items delivered to your door – that is, if you live in San Francisco and SF Peninsula.

Earlier this month, Google’s delivery service launched across Northern California, starting with the East Bay and such launch partners as Target, Walgreens, Whole Foods Market, Blue Bottle Coffee, Dodo Case, PhotoJojo and Timbuk2.
