Baizhu was introduced to the game a couple of years ago inGenshin Impactas a non-playable character as the owner of the Bubu Pharmacy and Qiqi’s caretaker. However, Baizhu is finally available as a playable character, thanks to the release of the Dendro element. Baizhu is a Dendro healer, but he also brings some great buffs to the team as well by boosting the damage of Dendro reactions. The best build for Baizhu inGenshin Impactstarts with choosing a solid weapon. Here are your best options:
Jadefall Splendor –The Jadefall Splendor is Baizhu’s signature 5-star weapon, boosting his HP by 49.62% and ATK by 608 at Level 90. This passive also allows him to gain buffs after using his Elemental Burst, restoring his Energy and boosting his Elemental DMG Bonus. It’s worth nothing that this weapon is incredibly niche, essentially only working as a weapon for Baizhu. As such, it’snot recommended to get this weaponunless you are a diehard Baizhu fan.
Prototype Amber –This 4-star weapon is free-to-play as a craftable weapon, and is also one of the only 4-star Catalyst weapons to boost HP%. All of Baizhu’s buffs and heals scale off of HP, so we want to choose a weapon that boosts this stat. As such, most players will likely opt to use the Prototype Amber. This weapon also provides some additional utility for the team, granting Energy to his party members after using his Elemental Burst, as well as providing some extra heals on top of that.
Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer –This is another Catalyst weapon that boosts his HP%. Despite being a 3-star weapon, this is actually one of the better Catalyst weapons in the game, thanks to a substantial 48% ATK buff at R5 after swapping off of Baizhu. This is an option if you wish to provide some extra buffs to an incoming ally.

Baizhu has a limited number of artifact sets to choose from, but luckily, there are some great ones for him here:
Tenacity of the Millelith –This set boosts Baizhu’s HP% and also provides a medley of useful offensive buffs for the team, increasing the ATK of allies by 20% and Shield Strength by 30%. Baizhu’s shield is a little unreliable, but the ATK buff is still useful, and we always want an HP% buff to boost Baizhu’s output. Prioritize HP% to boost his buffs and defensive utility, but don’t neglect Energy Recharge, as we want to verify Baizhu can use his Elemental Burst after every rotation.
Ocean-Hued Clam –If you already have a lot of HP% from other sources, you can opt for this set instead to boost Baizhu’s healing. As with the Tenacity set, prioritize HP% but don’t skimp out on his Energy Recharge.
