Every character withinEiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroespossesses distinct traits and requires specific conditions to be recruited into Nowa’s ranks. Pieter, Ormond, Leon, and Huang become recruitable after reaching Hishahn or completing the Euchrisse War event.
Pieter can be found in thenorthwest gardenofWerne Villageworking on his crops. When you speak with him, Nowa will ask if he’d like to join the Alliance Town to help with their crops. Pieter will let Nowa know that while he’s not a fighter, he’s plenty capable of working crops for the town and would love to have his land to let the crops flourish. After some brief dialogue, Nowa can then recruit Pieter to grow crops for the Alliance. Once Pieter has joined the party, you may build theFarmto allow the Alliance toharvest food and grow vegetables.
Ormond can be found within theAbandoned Mines. Speaking with him, he’ll tell Nowa that he’ll join the Alliance town, but first Nowa must bring him3 pieces of iron ore. The ore will be available in several areas within the mine, so it will be easy enough to gather quickly at this point in the game. When you’ve retrieved the ore, speak with Ormond again and he will join the party. When assigned thesupport slotfor your party, Ormond willincreasethematerials you gather at mining points. You may also establish aquarrywithin the town toobtainstone and salt as well.

Leon is a swordsman and mage who excels at using fire spells. Leon’s main attack deals “thrust” damage and, due to being a short-range character, he needs to be on the partyfrontline. He also has several rune-lens abilities.Fireballdeals moderate fire damage to1 enemyat the cost of15 MP,Flame Walldealsmoderate fire damagetoone rowof enemies at the cost of35 MP,Fire God’s Swordgrants anallyafire damage bonusand increased attackfor 3 turns for60MP, andFeint Thrustto deal1 enemythrust damagewith ahigh chance to stunfor the cost of2SP.
Leon can be found near thewestern exitof yourAlliance Town, he will be lying on the ground asking for water and food when you speak with him. Leon was traveling and got lost before ending up in town starving. He has a rune-lens within his own body unlike any other characters we’ve met so far and will join you after you speak with him.
Huang can be found early on if you return toArenside, go to the furthest areaeast of town, and speak with Huang justbeyondthewooden bridge. He will give you his old fishing rod and enable you to be able to fish to gather ingredients in the overworld. Huang will then next be found inHishahnwhen you arrive in theEuchrisse region. Speak with him and Nowa will ask him to join the Alliance. He will ask you to catch a “wheel-eye bream” and then he’ll be willing to join Nowa’s Alliance.
The Wheel-Eye Bream can be found at theSeaside Cavernfishing spot. There will be ahidden fishing spotto thesouthof thecavern. You cansavein the cavern andreload your saveuntil you catch the wheel-eye bream to save some time as well. Once you catch the fish, go back and visit Huang in Hishahn so that he can join the Alliance town. When Huang joins, you can now build theFishing Spotin town tocollect food and fish.
