Blizzardhad already hinted that the new class would be Spiritborn, but last night, Adam Fletcher (Community Lead), Brent Gibson (Game Director), Eleni Rivera-Colon (Narrative Designer), Nick Chilano (Art Director), and Bjorn Mikkelson (Game Designer) revealed all the details.
With this class, players will connect with the roots of Nahantu and harness the energy of nature to unleash powerful attacks. Specifically, the Spiritborn class channels the power of four guardian spirits: the jaguar, the gorilla, the eagle, and the centipede. With the help of spiritual energy, warriors who choose this class can unleash powerful physical and vertical attacks on the enemies of Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred.
More Details About the Spiritborn Class
Through an officialBlizzardpost, we learn more about the Spiritborn players of Nahantu, who can adopt different characteristics based on the spirit they embody. They are dedicated to protecting the Spirit Realm, which is a ghostly reflection of Sanctuary and thus connected to the core game ofDiablo 4.

In addition to performing unique attacks as bearers of this energy, users of Nahantu’s spiritual energy will adopt the specific mechanics of each guardian, whether it be strength, speed, tactics, or healing.
Blizzard has confirmed that"Vessel of Hatred"includes a new class quest, with unique abilities and branches that players can unlock starting at level 15.
Additionally, the expansion adds thematic items for the Spiritborn class and its four types, as well as the Hall of Spirits, which essentially allows you to train your character. You can assign a primary spirit with bonuses and also a secondary bonus starting at level 30.
