The upcoming Souls-like JRPGCode Veinwill not be releasing in September, instead it will be launching next year. The new launch date does not come with an exact release window but reasons as to why the delay read on below.
Code Vein Delayed to 2019 Release
In a recent tweet on the Code Vein Japanese twitter account, a tweet explains thedelay of the release of the game until 2019. The translation of the tweet is a follows:
CODE VEIN" announcement of the postponement of the release of the original RPG in September 2018 we have been working diligently to produce, better quality, to deliver to customers as a work with high play, We postponed the release date in 2019. Sorry for waiting.

The original release was supposed to be on September 27th but it looks likeCode Veinfans will have to wait until next year. According the statement it seems they wanted more time to polish the game and release a high quality game. It was only last week they release introductions to companion characters such asMia KarnsteinandLouis.
In anothertweet from the Bandai Namco Europe account, they announce that the game will no longer be playable at the upcomingGamescom 2018which was previously announced. The message backs up the Code Vein tweet as they mention “ensuring the final product delivers on the expectations set amongst fans”.
Code Vein will now release on PS4, Xbox One and PC sometime next year 2019.
