Bayonetta 2has finally been released on the Nintendo Switch. How’s it doing? Well…in the UK, it’s doing okay. ThePlatinum-developedBayonetta 2is fifth in the UK chart - the game’s highest chart placing to date. However, this place was achieved with the fewest physical sales.

Have you played Bayonetta 2 yet? If not, what are you waiting for?

It might be that this port came too soon after the Wii U version and didn’t add enough new to justify double-dipping. Also, data hasn’t been released as to how many digital sales ofBayonetta 2there were, as UK numbers company Chart-Track doesn’t track this stat. Check out the trailer below for the Nintendo Switch version ofBayonetta 2.

Unsurprisingly, theBayonettaseries' most successful launch week was when the original was released on Xbox 360 &  PlayStation 3. Whether it breaks sales records or not, I’m pleased that the Switch version of the game exists. The more people who play this amazing game, the better.
