How to Unlock Hybrid Crops
Once you have finished year one inStory of Seasons: A Wonderful Lifeand enter your second year. Takakura will soon tell you that someone slipped some seeds into his pocket when he was in the city. When he came home and planted them, Vinnie was the result. This three-headed, talkative plant will fuse different crops together to make hybrid varieties. He can also fuse flowers with a number of crops too! Vinnie will accept the crop in either seed or produce form, so it is really up to you which route you would like to take.

Vinnie is quite temperamental though, and he will not produce hybrid crops for you as soon as you meet him. You will need to talk to him consistently until he is friendly towards you and only then will he offer this service to you. This doesn’t take too long as you can talk to him repeatedly. You can also check how much he likes you on the same screen as the other Forgotten Valley residents.
